For All Your Disney Vacation Needs

Fairytale Connections: Our Character Experience Aboard the Disney Magic

We always rave about our character interaction aboard the Disney Cruise ships. We sail frequently without our kids (for a variety of reasons) but the one time we took our oldest (now 5) we had the most amazing interactions!

There are 3 specific interactions that really resonated with us, and I'll save the best for last!

Never Too Much of A Good Thing!

In March 2016 my family stayed at the same resort for the 4th time in a row...the 4th time in just over a year.  If it ain't broken...don't fix it right?  The thing is...WHY? Why do we keep staying at the same resort?  Let's talk about my top 5 reasons for our continue stays at Port Orleans French Quarter!

EPCOT For Toddlers

Around here we talk about EPCOT a lot. While I hope that I have changed the perception of the park for some of my clients, it's still a popular topic. People feel it's too boring or adult centered and they don't want to "waste" their time. I'm going to share a bit more about why we love EPCOT (and often spend more than one day there)!

Let's talk about my TOP 5 reasons to head to EPCOT!!

Girls Getaway Weekend 2017

What is Girls Getaway Weekend?
This weekend is a chance to reconnect with your friends and family in a relaxing and magical place! It’s a weekend just for the ladies….just because! Everyone has their own reasons for joining. Some need a break from work, others want to reconnect with friends that maybe they haven’t seen in a while. The weekend is whatever you want it to be!

What group is running this…I don’t know who’s going and don’t think it’s for me.
While the weekend is being hosted by Living With The Magic Vacations, everyone is welcome! There is no specific club or group attending. It’s a mix of friends, family, past and future clients. Everyone is welcome, and everyone is welcome to invite whomever they like!
Ok…but what if I don’t have anyone to go with?
That’s ok! We have a singles list started. Come meet some great ladies and find someone to room with, regardless of your budget. Join our Facebook group HERE.
I’m still not quite sure I get it…what exactly goes on during this event?
While we have a variety of events planned, you are welcome to participate as much or as little as you’d like!  This year we have 2 very special events planned  as well as some unofficial events and meet ups.   Our firsts official event will be our dinner at Hoop Dee Doo Revue on April 29th after a fun filled day at Magic Kingdom. Our 2nd official event will be our farewell breakfast on April 30th at EPCOT. This event is a private event just for our group and includes an early morning ride at Soarin' Around the World followed by breakfast in France...with a Mimosa bar!

The group will have an official park of the day (and the events will line up with these days)

Also be sure to join our Facebook Group to stay up to date on all the details of the itinerary.  You are welcome to join us during the day, at our dining reservations….basically whenever you want! Our hope is for a great group of women to get together and have an amazing, stress free weekend!

Special for 2017!!
Our dates just happen to line up with Dapper Day Spring 2017!  Many of our ladies are choosing to participate and we'll even be meeting up for afternoon tea! Read more about it HERE.
Ok, what’s the catch…how much does it cost?
That’s up to you! We have special resort pricing available for April 27-May 1st, 2017 at 3 different resorts, along with discounted tickets. Stay for as long or as little as you’d like. We also have special pricing for our events, t-shirts/tank tops and much more! The entire weekend is flexible and customizable to your budget!——————————————————————————————————————-
April is a long time off…how long do I have to decide?
While we recommend booking your resort as soon as you can (just one night’s room deposit) as rooms are limited, you have until the end of February to sign up. As rooms are limited we can’t guarantee how long you’ll be able to book.——————————————————————————————————————
I have more questions…can I contact you?
Anytime! We can be reached through our Facebook Group, at or 888.557.9690.We hope to see you soon!

Baby Mine

Congratulations of your expected bundle of joy!

I often get the question, I'm pregnant and we are going to Disney! Now what?  First of all, take a deep breath. Your Disney trip can be tons of fun even with your little bun in the oven! I'm going to share with you my Top 5 reasons to enjoy your Walt Disney World when you are pregnant!!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and 1900 Park Fare...a Princesstastic Day!

When Kennedy was 3 we took her to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for the first time.  Three is the minimum age so while she has visited Walt Disney World before, this was our first opportunity to go. I think it really the perfect age as she understood everything that was going on.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue...Review!

No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, there is always something new and exciting to see.  During our Very Dapper Girls Getaway Weekend in 2015, we decided to see and do as many NEW things as possible, including Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  I had heard amazing things about this dinner show but never actually made it over there.

After a fun filled day at Animal Kingdom, we hopped in our rental car and set out for the campgrounds.

A Day At Castaway Cay: Serenity Bay

One of my favorite places on Earth is at Castaway Cay, Disney's Private Island located in the Bahamas.   In June of 2015 we were on an adult on vacation (sorry kids) and decided to splurge on a Private Cabana.  If you've read my posts before you'll know that we aren't beach people...we don't like to sit around and well...relax! We like to be on the go!! So on cruises that stop in Castaway Cay we usually get off the ship, have lunch, wander around and then head back...looking for something to do! Well this trip was going to be a bit different!

It's time to pack!

This question is asked a lot by my clients so I thought we'd go into a bit of detail today.

How the Internet Can Ruin Your Disney Vacation

How the Internet Can Ruin Your Disney Vacation

The internet...we love it don't we? We can get just about any piece of information, advice, name it, at a moments notice.  We won't talk about age here, but when I was a kid we were still using card catalogs at the library (am I the only weirdo that misses those?). Nowadays everything is instantaneous and broadcast to hundreds of our closest "Friends".  Don't get me wrong, there are so many perks to the internet. I love that I can find any recipe I want within seconds, connect (and stay connected) with friends all over the country, and so very much know I'm going somewhere with this right?

Be Our Guest? No Thank You!

My favorite meal of the day is hands down dessert...ooops I mean breakfast...breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! I love everything about it...juice? YES! Coffee? Double Yes? Eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, pancakes...I could go on and on!! So when it was announced that one of my FAVORITE restaurant was going to start serving breakfast, I knew I had to try it!

Rider Swap

Rider Swap

Rider Swap is a very cool feature that many don't know about at the Walt Disney World Resort. What is Rider Swap?  Let's say you are traveling with 2 small children.  You arrive at Splash Mountain and your youngest doesn't meet the height requirement...or is simply not ready to ride due to a fear. This is where Rider Swap comes in!

Princess and Petticoats in the Park

Last year Living With The Magic Vacations hosted an amazing weekend away at Walt Disney World...just for the ladies. It was four days filled with some amazing special events, meals and quality time with a bunch of great ladies. We had sisters and friends, Moms and daughters, aunts, name it!  We had SO much fun that we decided to plan another trip for next year.

Imagine my surprise that we planned our Girls Getaway Weekend for the same weekend as Spring Dapper Day...and even more lucky, our itinerary matches up! We are SO excited to be able to participate in BOTH Girls Getaway and Dapper Day!

Top 5 Reasons to Cruise Without Your Kids

We love to cruise...we are fiercely  loyal to Disney mostly because we have had nothing but amazing experiences.  Many people are surprised to learn that with a 5 and 2 year old we don't usually sail with our kids. Our oldest has gone on one sailing and our youngest has yet to cruise. We'll definitely be bringing them along once they are older, but for now our cruises are saved for Grown Up vacations only!

Top 10 Counter Service Restaurants

Much of the time when clients are preparing for their Walt Disney World vacations the focus is on table service restaurants. It's imperative to make reservations in advance so it's no surprise it's often the focus of our planning. Today thought, I'd like to talk about my favorite counter service locations. I think Disney does such an amazing job at offering a variety of food. Disney has so much more to offer than burgers and fries!! My selections below are simply my personal favorites. They are not necessarily the best value, the cheapest or anything else...just my favorites that I tend to visit over and over!

Stay With Mickey

While it doesn't happen often, every once in a while I have a potential client/friend/stranger that says, "Why Stay on's SO much cheaper to stay off-site!"  While years ago it was simply a matter of money and proximity, today it's not quite so simple. Today I'll share the top 10 reasons to stay on Disney property!

Top 10 Reasons to stay On-Site
(In no particular order)

My name is Amanda and I'm the blogger here at Our Incredible Adventures. I'm excited you've decide to follow along on our many adventures! I'll not only be sharing our adventures to come, but also sharing with you some of our past adventures...they'll include Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line mainly, but you never know where adventure will take us next!

Before we jump into our adventures, I'd like to share a bit about me and my family!

It's no surprise to anyone that knows me that I love Disney. I've had a love of Disney and his company since I was a small child.  I grew up in Upstate NY and our family vacations mainly consisted of day trip and long weekends to the Adirondack Mountains.  At the ripe age of 19 I took off and experienced many first...including my first plane ride and my first job with the Walt Disney Company! As they say, there was no looking back! I was hooked on the magic and enchantment of the parks (and later the Cruise Line) and was enamored with the company and it's philosophy.

After quite a few more jobs and many years later, I felt the need to reconnect with Disney but couldn't just pick up and move back to Florida. I decide the best way to be part of the magic was to help families plan their trips! I've been in the business for almost 10 years and am the proud owner of Living With The Magic Vacations.  I'm one of the lucky few that can say I have my dream job! On a daily basis I get to share my love of the Disney company!
2015 at my favorite event, Dapper Day! This even combines my love of
Disney and everything nostalgic!

My family consists of my hubby Eric, our 2 amazing and crazy daughters, Kennedy and Finley and our 2 silly pups, Walter and Elsa! Eric and I have been married for 6 years and I'm blessed that she shares my love of Disney.  The girls are quickly following in our footsteps and Kennedy has announced she wants to ride Roller Coasters at Disney for a living when she grows up :)

In a nutshell, that's us! I'll spend more time blogging about our little family, our adventures (big and little) and so much more. Hang on tight and AWAY WE GO!

Welcome to Our Incredible Adventures! I'm so excited to start this new blog and share my love of Disney vacation planning! Whether it's for my own family or clients, I LOVE planning, sharing and talking about Disney! Our Incredible Adventures will chronicle our adventures at all the various Disney Destinations (and sometimes BEYOND)!  So follow along and remember...Adventures Is Out There!
