For All Your Disney Vacation Needs

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue...Review!

No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, there is always something new and exciting to see.  During our Very Dapper Girls Getaway Weekend in 2015, we decided to see and do as many NEW things as possible, including Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  I had heard amazing things about this dinner show but never actually made it over there.

After a fun filled day at Animal Kingdom, we hopped in our rental car and set out for the campgrounds.

There are three main ways of getting to Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue:

1) Take a bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom, then hop a boat for Magic Kingdom
2) Take a bus from whatever park you are visiting over to Fort Wilderness
3) Drive to Fort Wilderness

For both options 2 and 3 once you arrive at Fort Wilderness you will still need to hop on an internal bus back to the Settlement Depot. Make sure you leave yourself PLENTY of time.

You can pick up your tickets in advance at the concierge desk of your resort or you can pick them up from the box office here but leave yourself time if you wish to do that.

After we checked in, we  had a bit of a wait. Remember your table is already assigned (based on WHEN you  made your reservation) so no need to line up early. We took this time to visit the ladies room and take a few photos.  There are some great photo ops and keep your eyes peeled for Photopass Photographers!

Wagon Rides are available for a nominal fee

After a while we noticed people were starting to line up. We were excited so we jumped in line. It wasn't long before the rang the dinner bell and the doors opened.

The Main Doors

There are 3 categories of seating here at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. With your Disney Dining Plan you will be seating in categories 2 or 3 for the first two shows of the night or category 1 of the last show (based on availability)

We were seated in Category 2 but on the main floor. We had a wonderful high top table and had a great view of everything! Practically the second we were seated there was food in front of us and our drink orders were taken!

Remember that unlimited Soft Drinks, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Beer, Wine and Sangria are included. We opted for water and some Sangria!

Starting off with some AMAZING Cornbread

Soon the fun started and the show began. It was more entertaining than I expected! I really expected it to be a bit on the cheesey side but it was really authentic, wholesome, family friendly, original Disney fun!

So romantic!

Not only was the show pretty amazing but the food was too!!   Shortly after the show began...the food started coming...and didn't stop! There was way more than 2 of us could have enjoyed!! Plus don't forget...the drinks kept coming too!

Ribs

Fried Chicken

Mashed Potatoes

Corn

It was all so delicious!

The show began coming to a close but not before we got to participate a little. Washboard playing,  napkin flying fun!!

The perfect end to a perfect evening was the AMAZING Strawberry Shortcake!!

We were stuffed and definitely entertained. This show exceeded my expectations both in entertainment and food! We have already been back once since this visit with another planned for next year's Girls Getaway Weekend!
